  • Crystal Quade – Phone Banking

Join Team Quade as we call voters to talk to them about the race for Governor and why Crystal Quade is the person we need to make sure families in Missouri today can beat the odds tomorrow. We'll be phone banking on Zoom, so you can participate from every corner of the state!

  • Virtual Phone Bank to Recruit Volunteers

    Virtual

Are you looking to do something, but can't go out knocking doors? Platte County Democrats, along with the Missouri Democratic Party, are making calls every Tuesday and Wednesday evening. In this phone bank, we will be calling Democrats who have volunteered with us before and asking them to help phone bank more volunteers to grow...

  • How to Raise a Citizen

Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church 7600 NW Barry Road, Kansas City, Missouri

Join author Lindsey Cormack as she demystifies complex civic knowledge and engages families in American democracy. This American Public Square discussion group event explores Cormack's newly released book, How to Raise a Citizen (And why it's up to you to do it).

  • March for Dems @ Edgerton Parade

North Platte Intermediate School 900 Lewis St., Edgerton, Missouri

Volunteer to support first-time Democratic candidates Andrea Denning and Pam May by marching with them in the Edgerton Pioneer Days Festival. Andrea is running to represent northern Platte County in the Missouri Legislature. Pam is running to represent U.S. Congressional District 6.

  • Jamie Johnson & Elad Gross – Canvass Platte County Neighborhoods

Elad's and Jamie's teams are jointly canvassing Platte County neighborhoods every Saturday until the election. Meet up at the Platte County Dems headquarters for a brief training and assignments. If knocking on doors is not your thing, the teams could also use drivers.

  • Ashley Aune – Canvass for Ashley!

In her re-election campaign for the state legislature, Rep. Ashley Aune needs our help to knock on doors in MO District 14 and talk to persuadable voters. If door knocking seems intimidating, you can also volunteer as a driver. Meet up at 10 am at the Platte County Dems HQ for training and assignments.

Add PCDCC events to the calendar you already use. Once you subscribe, your calendar will automatically update with new events.

You will paste this address:

https://plattedems.org/events/?ical=1

Close this window, click Subscribe to calendar at the bottom of the page, choose iCalendar, and confirm when your device asks.

That is the whole thing — you do not even need the address above.

  1. Open Google Calendar on a computer (this cannot be done in the phone app)
  2. In the left sidebar, find Other calendars and click +
  3. Choose From URL and paste the address above
  4. Click Add calendar

Then on your phone: open the Google Calendar app, go to Settings, find Platte County Dems under your account, and switch it on. Subscribed calendars stay hidden on phones until you do. Google also checks for new events about once a day, so a brand-new event can take up to 24 hours to appear.

  1. Open Outlook on the web and click Add calendar
  2. Choose Subscribe from web
  3. Paste the address above, give it a name, and click Import

Like Google, Outlook refreshes on its own schedule rather than instantly.

Prefer a one-time list instead? The Export .ics file options download a snapshot of our current events — handy for printing, but it will never update. Questions, or something not working? Email de**@********ms.org.
