As a result of past successful events\, the Platte County Democrats were able to rent space for the 2024 election season. This space was well utilized! It served as a meeting place for energized Democrats in Platte County\, a volunteer kickoff location\, and a headquarters for Democratic candidates\, among many other election-related activities. DESCRIPTION:The Platte County Democratic Central Committee is excited to announce that our fourth annual Music & Mimosas will take place on Sunday\, April 27 at Argosy Casino in Riverside. You can expect an afternoon of conviviality\, awesome speakers\, and of course\, music and mimosas! \n\n\n\nThis event continues to grow and attract inspiring speakers as well as Democrats from across the Kansas City metro who yearn to make a difference in our political landscape. Our keynote speaker is newly elected Missouri Senator Stephen Webber. Sen. Webber was previously the political director for the Missouri AFL-CIO. Before that\, he served two tours of duty in Iraq with the Marines and four terms as a Missouri State Representative. Sen. Webber is a proven winner who is not afraid of fighting for the working class. \n\n\n\nMusic & Mimosas is a major fundraiser for our organization. As a result of past successful events\, the Platte County Democrats were able to rent space for the 2024 election season. This space was well utilized! It served as a meeting place for energized Democrats in Platte County\, a volunteer kickoff location\, and a headquarters for Democratic candidates\, among many other election-related activities. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help us do the same in the 2026 midterm election.Individual tickets are $100 and can be purchased through ActBlue. Table sponsorships are also available.
