Shall Platte County, solely for the purpose of establishing a community children’s services fund for the purpose of providing services to protect the well-being and safety of children and youth nineteen years of age or less and to strengthen families, be authorized to levy a sales tax of one-quarter of one cent in Platte County?

According to Platte County 4 Kids, “The Platte County Children’s Services Fund will make mental health services possible for thousands of children and youth. It will also create jobs. The Fund’s resources will protect the youngest victims of crime, abuse, domestic violence, homelessness, and suicide. It provides safe harbor and new beginnings to those who need it most.”
