Hello Friends,

It’s been another busy week in Missouri, with several major developments shaping the conversation around our state government, our courts, and the rights of Missouri voters. This week, the Missouri Supreme Court issued important rulings involving citizens’ ability to place measures on the ballot, including the referendum challenging the state’s new congressional map. The Court ordered the redistricting referendum to appear on the November ballot and reaffirmed that the existing 2022 congressional map remains in effect unless voters approve the new map.

We’re also seeing continued questions about the use of taxpayer dollars, the constitutionality of policy provisions attached to the state budget, changes within the governor’s administration, and the future of reproductive rights in Missouri.
