Make Your Plan to Vote
Following the Supreme Court’s final ruling, Missouri will use the 2022 Congressional maps for the November election. Reject the Missouri Legislature’s gerrymandered 2025 maps. VOTE NO on Prop A!
Even if you voted in the past, it is important to ensure you are still registered. The last day to register for the November election is October 7th. Check Your Voter Registration

- Absentee voting (with an excuse) began September 22nd
- Early voting (no excuse) starts October 20th
- Election Day, November 3rd from 6 am-7 pm at your polling place. Where Do I Vote
The Platte County Democratic Central Committee endorsed these positions on the November ballot issues:
- VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 3! Missouri voted for reproductive freedom in 2024. Now lawmakers want to overturn that choice, using fear about transgender surgeries for minors. These surgeries are already prohibited by law in Missouri. For more information go to Abortion Action MO.
- VOTE YES ON AMENDMENT 6 to protect Missouri’s initiative petition process. Amendment 6 will limit lawmakers ability to overturn voter-passed ballot measures by requiring an 80% vote to put an issue back on the ballot. For more information go to Respect MO Voters
- VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 7! Amendment 7 would establish an endowment “Show Me Prosperity Fund” which would invest public money with the goal of replacing state taxes with investment earnings. There is no indication of the funding source and how the money will be used. For more information go to Missouri Budget Project
- VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 8! Amendment 8 limits the circumstances under which sheriffs can be removed from office, taking power away from local communities and handing it to the state attorney general.
- VOTE NO ON PROPOSITION A! A NO vote rejects the 2025 Congressional District gerrymandered maps designed to eliminate a Democratic seat. For more information go to People Not Politicians
The best way to ensure these unpopular and detrimental issues are not on our ballots is to elect representatives who listen to their constituents and who will pass legislation in the best interest of Platte County citizens.
It is time to elect Democrats who will represent YOU!
