Walk with Allies October 17, 2026

Plan ahead because you won’t want to miss WALK with ALLIES on Saturday, October 17th!
We’ll be hitting the trail for a 1-mile walk, hiding the rocks we’ve decorated, and enjoying some cool jams at our reserved shelter.
But that’s not all—we’re excited to give back to our community by collaborating with Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter! We’ll soon share their donation wish list, and ask YOU to help us support their amazing work. Plus, they’ll be bringing a few furry friends along for the walk!
It’s going to be a fun day of walking, music, creativity, community, and giving back.

  1. Open Google Calendar on a computer (this cannot be done in the phone app)
  2. In the left sidebar, find Other calendars and click +
  3. Choose From URL and paste the address above
  4. Click Add calendar

Then on your phone: open the Google Calendar app, go to Settings, find Platte County Dems under your account, and switch it on. Subscribed calendars stay hidden on phones until you do. Google also checks for new events about once a day, so a brand-new event can take up to 24 hours to appear.

  1. Open Outlook on the web and click Add calendar
  2. Choose Subscribe from web
  3. Paste the address above, give it a name, and click Import

Like Google, Outlook refreshes on its own schedule rather than instantly.
